Bathroom Design

Bathrooms are fundamental rooms in a home. Most people give  them little importance and don't spend much thought on them. However, they are incredibly versatile rooms that can be perfectly adapted to fit and complement the style of the home they are in.

Here you can see two Design Concepts for the exact same bathroom. Although the room is the same, the positioning and overall space distribution is completely different and as a result you get two very different results.

Design Concept 1

In this design concept the natural materials like wood and stone play a fundamental roll.  Although the bathroom space was limited it was important to have all the commodities a master bathroom should have. It has double sinks, a toilet, a modern cascade shower and a separate tub;  all sharing  the same colors and geometrical principles.

The bathroom was inspired on natural waterfalls and this is something you can see reflected throughout its faucets and water features.

This particular bathroom was thought to be placed in a modern Art Deco inspired house. That is why the geometry and straight lines can be seen all around the space

Design Concept 2

In this concept the aim was to produce an organic bathroom with modern design elements. Although the bathroom space was limited it was important to have all the commodities a master bathroom should have. The room features double sinks, a toilet, a modern cascade shower and a separate tub. They all share the room but have a feeling of privacy and division according to their function.

The use of the space was maximized by using the division wall between the tub and toilet as  storage room.

The shower mosaic wall provides a heterogeneous texture  of colored glass and natural stones  resulting in an organic composition.
